GUTTER DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
FOR C.O.D. CUSTOMERS
Effective: April 28, 2020
It is a very difficult decision that we have made to close. Service is most important to me but not at the expense of exposing my employees and customers. This virus is so highly contagious that I am very concerned about exposure for everyone. We are trying our best to minimize it.
With that in mind, Bruce and I have decided to resume making gutter deliveries on a very limited basis with the following parameters. Please follow our requirements listed with no exceptions.
1. All orders must be emailed to me at [email protected] by 1:00 pm the day before your delivery date. We will not accept phone orders or an email order on the same day.
2. All email orders must be an exact list of gutter measurements, spout, elbows, hangers, miters, end caps, outlets, spout securement method [pipebands, conductor brackets and racks, keys and what type of drive], screws, gutter seal, rivets, gutter guard and anything else you may need. The driver will not take any add-ons at the jobsite. Currently we are not allowing pick-ups at our Main Street location. Make sure you order exactly what you need as we will not take any returns either.
3. All gutter orders must be prepaid. We will not accept any form of payment at the job site. My drivers cannot and will not take cash, check or credit cards at the delivery. They have been instructed to just drop off the material and leave. If you have not done so already, a credit card authorization form must be completed and sent with your first order. We will keep it on file for future use unless instructed otherwise on the form. See the credit card authorization below.
4. My drivers will be wearing masks as the state of Pennsylvania requires. You, the customer, and your workers must also wear a mask or maintain a social distancing of at least 25 feet.
While these requirements may seem rather stringent, it is for the protection of everyone. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This is not how I like to do business but these times are not normal. Thank you for your understanding.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me by email [email protected] or cell: 610-405-4389. If you call, leave a voice mail so I do not think it is spam.
Stay safe….
